A session on soil treatment took place in Muslyumovo municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan

A session devoted to soil treatment took place in Muslyumovo municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. Chiefs of agricultural directorates, directors and specialists of farm housholds of Sarmanovo, Almetyevsk, Lelinogorsk, Aktanysh, Yutasy and Muslyumovo municipal districts participated in it.

The participants of the session visited subdivision №1 of “Sarmanovo agrarian college”, OOO “Agromaster” and peasant farm enterprise “Islamov I.Z.”. In the peasant farm enterprise they examined the process of soil treatment and defined advantages and drawbacks of different tillage machinery.

The key issues for discussion became those concerning the right method of tilling and preservation of moisture in a 1-meter soil layer. The factors to increase the yield of agricultural crops were also examined.
