28 February 2019, Thursday

On February 28, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov took part in the celebration of the leaders of the Baltasinsky municipal district.

Before the event, Marat Akhmetov visited the exhibition of locally produced products, personally communicating with each agricultural producer, learning about the difficulties, successes and future plans.

The solemn celebration of the best workers began with a fascinating concert program and became a real “Labor Day”. Children and youth of the district showed interesting creative performances, danced and sang songs about their native land. It is gratifying to note that despite the fact that the life of any villager from early morning to late evening is filled with worries, there is a place for creativity, and conditions created for young talents.

“In this area I began my life and work, I learned a lot and will always be grateful to the Baltasins – people of strong spirit, incredibly diligent and hardworking. These qualities have always distinguished the inhabitants of the area, and they have created the strong economic foundation of the area. I am confident that these qualities will be the key to the future success of the region”, said Marat Akhmetov.

The district leaders received well-deserved state awards. Marat Akhmetov himself received a medal of an honorary citizen of Baltasinsky district.

“Recognition of sewrvices at such a high level is very important for me,” says Rafis Galimullin, who worked as a livestock specialist for 40 years and received the Gratitude of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan from the hands of the Minister. After graduating from the Veterinary Academy, he returned to work in his native village. He considers hard working is his main quality. “Zootechnic’s work is a job of 365 days a year, each new day brings new worries, they cannot be postponed until tomorrow, everything must be done today,” says Rafis Galimullin. But he does not complain, in his work Rafis Galimullin found his vocation and cannot imagine his life without it. And many people agree with him at today's event.
