Graduates of the Veterinary Academy are in demand in the labor market

The 19th of March the Career Day was held at the Veterinary Academy. The event was organized by the university administration together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan specifically for future graduates: 4th and 5th year students. During the “Career Day”, students met with their potential employers - agricultural producers the republic and other regions.
Opening the meeting, the rector of Kazan Federal Agency for Higher Education and Management Rustam Ravilov noted the necessity of such events, which allow students to decide on the future place of work and help to secure a young specialist in the agro-industrial complex.
Head of the Department of Science, Education and Innovation Technologies of the Ministry Nail Khamidullin spoke in detail about the programs of support to young professionals in the village. “Coming to work at the village after graduating from the university, the young specialist receives from the Ministry the “ lifting ” in the amount of 300 thousand rubles, as well as a monthly surcharge to the basic salary at the place of work in the amount of the minimum wage (from January 1, 2019 the minimum wage in the Russian Federation is 11 280 rubles per month) during the year”.
The event was attended by over 50 employers, including JSC Ak Bars Holding, JSC Krasny Vostok, JSC Agrosila Group, LLC Chelny Broiler, LLC Golden Niva Kaybitsky District of RT, etc. They told in detail about their organizations, working conditions, vacancies and prospects for young professionals.
The heads of veterinary associations and representatives of the agricultural departments of the republic spoke about the need for specialists in the public sector, and representatives of urban veterinary services, laboratories, research institutions - in their field.
After employers' speeches, the students had the opportunity to come up and individually communicate with representatives of organizations.
Graduates of the Veterinary Academy are quite in demand in the labor market of agriculture. Many employers are trying to attract a young specialist as soon as possible even not graduated yet.
It should be noticed that the Academy together with the Ministry do a lot for the employment of graduates: “Career Days” , individual meetings with specific employers, round tables, etc are organized annually. This allows not only to consolidate the young specialist in the specialty, but also helps young people to find a job immediately after graduating from the Academy, build a successful career and find his place in life or even his vocation.

    in the specialty "Veterinary" - 124;
    in the direction of training "Veterinary-sanitary examination" - 33;
    in the direction of training "Zootechnic" - 30;
    in the direction of preparation "Technology of production and processing of agricultural products" - 22.
