Harvesting campaign 2016: the 1st million tons of grain have been milled in Tatarstan

As of July 28, 2016, 1,107,200 tons of grain have been received from 356,500 ha at the average crop yield of 31.1 dt/ha in Tatarstan.

695,600 tons of winter wheat, 313,900 tons of winter rye, 53,600 tons of barley and 38,000 tons of pea have been milled.

Over a third of all lands with grains and pulses have been cleared in Aktanysh districts (35% which is 15,400 ha, 60,100 tons have been milled), in Alkeevo municipal district (33% which is 10,000 ha, 31,300 tons have been milled), in Zainsk municipal district (33% which is 12,000 ha, 52,200 tons hav been milled), in Chistopol municipal district (33% which is 16,100 ha, 47,100 tons have been milled), and in Apastovo municipal district (32% which is 9,200 ha, 30,100 tons have been milled).

Leading districts in harvesting are Zainsk, Nurlat and Tetyushi municipal districts, where farmers have received over 40 dt of grain per ha, while Aktanysh and Buinsk municipal districts are the best in milling (60,100 tons and 55,500 tons correspondingly).

Harvesting is gaining pace in “Rodnik” company in Chistopol municipal district, where over 60% of fields with grains and pulses have been cleared. Over 40% of fields have been cleared in “Nurlat Sete”, “Set ile”-“Chistai”, “Agrofirma “Anyak”, “Nigez” and “Tan” companies, in “Alga” and “Rodina” collective farms.

Strong performance in the average grain yield is in the following companies: “Agrofirma “Kolos” (49 dt/ha), “Sodruzhestvo” (45 dt/ha), “Avangard” (47.4 dt/ha), “Agrofirma “Anyak” (45.7 dt/ha), “Nurlat Sete” (43.5 dt/ha), “Nurkeevo (43.4 dt/ha), “Sarman” (41.2 dt/ha), in the collective farm called “Rodina” (43.7 dt/ha) and the peasant farm enterprise called “Suleimanov” (43 dt/ha).
