Protection of soil against water and arid erosion discussed in the Ministry of agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan

Chief at the Land and Property Relations Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan met Chairman at “Association of woodgrowers of the Republic of Tatarstan” Kharis Musin. The meeting took place in the Palace of Agriculturalists.

German scientists of the forestry department of Dresden Technical University also took part in the meeting.

Chairman at “Associaltion of woodgrowers of the Republic of Tatarstan” Kharis Musin is an author of 2 science and research projects in Tatarstan: “Development and exploitation of man-made forests in the Republic of Tatarstan” “LesPlan” and “Optimization of mixed plantation of Quercus robur and Tilia cordata “OMSK”. Beside this, there is cooperation with German scientists concerning the issues of development of forest amelioration, increase of tilled field productivity, and development of new varieties of trees.

During the meeting the issues of soil protection against water and arid erosion, development of forest tree nurseries, etc. were discussed.
