The Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov, visiting the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park, congratulated the complex on the seventh anniversary of the opening and checked its work in the conditions of an unfavorable sanitary and epidemiological situation in the country.

On May 16, the Kazan Agricultural Park was visited by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov and the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov. Oleg Vlasov, Director General of Kazan Agroindustrial Park JSC, spoke about the activities of the complex and the created opportunities for agricultural producers.

During the tour of the trading floor, warehouse and production part of the facility, the General Director of the complex demonstrated all measures to protect the population and tenants in the conditions of an unfavorable sanitary and epidemiological situation. From the very entrance, visitors are asked to wear gloves and masks. Containers with an antiseptic are placed in the trading rooms, the entire working inventory of residents and shopping carts are processed every two hours, the temperature of tenants and employees is measured every four hours, the entire cleaning of the complex is carried out using disinfectants, audio notification reminds you of the need to maintain distance 1.5 meters. “Today we all learn to work and live in new conditions, not comfortable, but protecting each of us,” said Oleg Vlasov as part of a demonstration of the measures taken.

By the decision of the Government, Agroprompark was assigned to enterprises with a continuous cycle, because It is a multifunctional complex. Today 220 residents work here, the number of residents in the current crisis situation has decreased by 20 - 25%. “The number of customers in the early days of declared self-isolation ranged from 800-900 people per day. But as early as April 15, there were 3,500 people on weekdays, and 4.5-5,000 people on weekends. Today, by noon we have already exceeded this figure. By the way, last year during the same period there were 6 thousand on weekdays, on weekends and holidays - more than 15 thousand people. Reduction in many groups of goods is up to 15–20%. The buyer has become more selective in choosing the price of products. We understand that it’s not easy for the client from the point of view of material support, ” the general director of the complex explained.

During the visit, trading floors, a vegetable processing workshop were demonstrated, where the general director of the complex spoke about interaction with agricultural producers and large chain retailers.

“The agro-industrial park has existed for seven years - all this time, we have been adapting the concept to changing market conditions, modern trade trends and the corresponding aspirations of agricultural producers! The main task, especially the first time, was to gain confidence from the local manufacturer and the buyer. Many of them did not imagine that for their benefit we created an effective tool for selling the grown and produced product. Now the situation is different! The complex is self-sufficient, profitable, all functional areas are in demand, ”Oleg Gennadievich said during a demonstration.
