At present, agriculture is becoming one of the key sectors of the economy. Therefore, one of the most important tasks of the country and the region now is to preserve rural life. This was stated by Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin.

“The main task is to support rural residents and local entrepreneurs under three federal programs. We have several more meetings with the districts ahead of us, and it is in our interests to preserve rural life. We are fighting sanctions and continue to develop our multi-vector industry, in modern conditions, agriculture is becoming one of the key sectors of the economy,” he said.

Before the plenary part, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, together with the Deputy Head of the Verkhneuslonsky District Sergey Osyanin, inspected the site of the Rostselmash service center and the production of fish products Divny Bereg. We also visited the  "Prokopyeva A.I." To date, the farm has 955 heads of cattle. The sown area is 1635 hectares. We visited the JSC "Tatkrahmalpatoka" plant for the production of grain extracts. The enterprise is equipped with modern equipment with the latest technology. Production management is carried out centrally from a single operator point. Full automation of processes eliminates the influence of the human factor on the stability of product quality. Depending on the given program and feedstock, the equipment allows the production of any kind of grain extracts.

Various types of grain are used as raw materials for the production of grain extracts. The total area is 2000 sq.m. Cucumbers, tomatoes and herbs are grown here.

Before the meeting, the head of parliament Farid Mukhametshin, accompanied by the head of the Verkhneuslonsky district Marat Ziatdinov, viewed an exhibition about the work of a number of agricultural enterprises and their products. At the site, he asked local farmers about the conditions for developing entrepreneurship in villages and assessed the potential of production.

Marat Zyabbarov made a speech at the meeting. He noted that personal subsidiary plots are now the most important sector of the rural economy. Thus, last year they produced agricultural products worth 107.3 billion rubles, which is 3.9% more than a year earlier.

To date, there are 474,000 private household plots in the republic, but only 4,340 of them have the status of "self-employed" and, accordingly, can use preferential loans.

This year there is a decrease in the number of cows and the volume of purchased milk. The population of the republic daily loses about 6 million rubles, based on the volume of purchased milk. “The main direction is subsidies for the preservation of dairy herds. Every year, 350 million rubles are paid from the budget of the republic for the maintenance of cows,” the speaker explained.

Speaking about state measures of financial support for rural entrepreneurs, Marat Zyabbarov said that the program for the construction of mini-farms is most in demand by the population. According to him, farms show the greatest stability in the current conditions: their production volumes grow by 8-10% annually.

“In this difficult time, it is extremely important to provide all kinds of support to our villagers. Everyone present in this hall bears a special responsibility for this work,” the minister concluded.

At the end of the meeting, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the republican contests "The best head of a peasant farm", "The best head of private household plots" and "The best head of a rural settlement for the development of entrepreneurship".
