Land reclamation is on the agenda of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today on the basis of the Kazan Plant of Irrigation Equipment chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, an off-site meeting on land reclamation was held. It was attended by Deputy Minister Dmitry Yashin, General Director of OJSC "Trust Company "Tatmelioratsia" Rustem Sungatullin, Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Management" Privolzhskmeliovodkhoz "(Tatmeliovodkhoz)" Mars Khismatullin, heads of agricultural formations and peasant farms, heads of the Department of Agriculture and organizations.
Before the start of the meeting, the participants got acquainted with the production of modern wide-sprinkler Kazanka. These machines allow you to irrigate all types of crops and have special nozzles that form fine rain, which ensures uniform irrigation. There is a possibility of reverse movement - the machine can move both clockwise and in the opposite direction, regulate and alternate watering, taking into account the placement of different crops on the site.
The advantage of these machines is the possibility of towed movement from one hydrant to another, operation at low water pressures (up to 3.5 atmospheres), which reduces pressure on the pipeline and saves energy up to 30-45%. Also, a distinctive advantage of these machines is their high productivity: for a 10-hour shift, you can water up to 40 hectares of land (more than 80 hectares per day). The participants of the meeting were shown in operation a modernized sample of the Kazanka sprinkling machine and a system for remote control and monitoring of the reclamation system, which will be equipped with new serially produced units.
The plant has produced and installed more than 210 units of sprinklers that successfully operate in the fields of Tatarstan and other regions of Russia - Altai, Mari El, Udmurtia.
On the results of the implementation of federal and republican programs
on land reclamation and the tasks for 2023 on the development of land reclamation were told by Mars Khismatullin. He noted that the available water resources make it possible to irrigate more than 400,000 hectares of land. He spoke about capital construction projects, the work on which is planned this year within the framework of the State program "Effective involvement in the circulation of agricultural land and the development of the reclamation complex of the Russian Federation." It was noted that construction and installation work at all facilities was carried out continuously, including in autumn and winter, which made it possible to put them into operation ahead of schedule, which makes it possible to operate reclamation facilities to obtain high yields this year. In 2022, the amount of work performed on land reclamation and radical improvement of land amounted to more than 2 billion rubles.
Dmitry Yashin spoke about measures of state support for the development of the land reclamation complex and fruit and vegetable production.
“In 2011-2022, 34 thousand hectares of irrigated land were reconstructed and restored, more than 250 km of water pipelines were laid, 465 hydraulic structures were repaired, 377 units of irrigation equipment were purchased, 118 wells were drilled, 49 water towers were installed, more than 20.0 thousand hectares of reclamation protective plantings,” he said.
Over the past 5 years, 5.1 billion rubles have been allocated for the development of land reclamation, including 1.7 billion rubles from the federal budget and 3.4 billion rubles from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 2023, 501.9 million rubles were attracted for state support of the complex from the federal budget under the current targeted programs, and 593 million rubles from the republican budget.
There are support measures for:
— reimbursement of 50% of the costs for the implementation of land reclamation projects,
— reimbursement of 50% of the costs of irrigation and drainage measures,
– reimbursement of 50% of the costs of projects for liming acidic soils on arable land,
— financing in the amount of 100% of projects for the construction and reconstruction of irrigation and drainage systems (7 projects have already been selected for 2023),
— financing up to 70% for the purchase of land reclamation equipment.
Marat Karimov spoke about progressive technologies of industrial potato growing in the Republic of Tatarstan. LLC "Agrofirma" Kyrlay "produces about a third of the total volume of potatoes obtained in the industrial sector of the republic. Potato is cultivated mainly on irrigation and the yield is 35-40 t/ha of ware potatoes.
“For 12 years, the area of irrigated land on the farm has reached 2,200 hectares. 5 ponds were built, 2 reservoirs were repaired. 29 sprinkling machines were purchased, 10 pumping stations. In addition, the agricultural company is successfully participating in the federal program for agricultural land reclamation, according to which irrigation systems are being reconstructed on another 450 hectares to irrigate fields,” he said.
Also during the meeting, the issues of growing fruit and berry and vegetable crops on irrigation and growing intensive gardens in the conditions of the Republic of Tatarstan using irrigation were considered. Then the heads of the farms asked their questions.
