Nikolay Titov presented the fish industry of Tatarstan at the International Fishery Forum in St. Petersburg

Today, the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev launched the work of the III International Fisheries Forum, which will be held July 10-11 in St. Petersburg. This year the main discussion platform of the Russian fishery complex is receiving 20 foreign delegations, representatives of domestic and foreign business, industry associations. The key theme of the event is “Ocean of opportunities: nature, economy, people”.

During the plenary session of the forum, Dmitry Patrushev noted that this event is unique - the scientific, economic, legal and social aspects of the use of aquatic biological resources are equally discussed here.

The forum also opened the Exhibition of the fish industry, seafood and technology, at which the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan presented the features of the fishing industry of the republic.

Dmitry Patrushev ot acquainted with the exposition of Tatarstan. Nikolay Titov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about the products produced in the Laishevsky, Mamadyshsky and Spassky districts, and also presented to the Minister of Agriculture of Russia the work of the unique fish-farming complex Biosphere-Fish, implemented in the republic. Guests of the exhibition could also see specialized pools with live sterlet brought from Tatarstan, taste fish products and try the royal fish soup.

Dmitry Patrushev appreciated the work of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of fish farming.
