Marat Zyabbarov: In general, the results of the year on crop production are good; the goal for 2020 is to provide 5% growth
This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov during a meeting of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The average yield in grain units amounted to 27.2 centners per hectare and is 1.2 centners more than in 2018. But crop problems remain. Some of the districts: Agryzsky, Kamsko-Ustinsky, and Almetyevsky do not have even 20 centners per hectare.
To improve this indicator, it was possible to adapt the technology of the agricultural industry to climatic conditions. The share of drought tolerant varieties is growing, moisture conservation, plant protection products and agricultural biologization factors are used more professionally.
“In general, we evaluate the results of crop production as good. There is a positive trend, this is more than 4.5 million tons of grain, 2.8 million tons of sugar beets, potatoes - 1.2 million tons, vegetables - more than 340 thousand tons, ”Marat Zyabbarov reported.
Vice Prime Minister recalled that the crop was formed in difficult conditions. By spring, 218 thousand hectares of winter crops had died and the damage caused amounted to 1.4 billion rubles. The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia reimbursed the agrarians only for the insured 60 thousand hectares the amount of 120 million rubles. The this year’s order is the same.
“The task for the current year is to provide 5% growth in crop production. This is a very serious goal, but it also laid a significant foundation: 494 thousand hectares of winter crops were sown, the seeds were completely covered, the main tillage was carried out, ”the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan noted.
To increase productivity, the minister asked to pay attention to the issue of plant nutrition - this is at least 70 kg a.s. per hectare. Today, the accumulation is 25.3 kg. Stimulating support to those who have accumulated 35 kg a.s. will be issued in the coming days according to the submitted documents. The minister asked not to delay the purchase of fertilizers, since it will become more expensive soon.
“Seed potential is not used everywhere. We strongly recommend that you do not sow seeds below 2 reproductions, pre-laying a loss. We have a sufficient resource of grain. It’s only a desire to be updated, ”Marat Zyabbarov emphasized.
It is assumed that a batch protection of plants together with leaf dressing will become a serious growth point. “For us, the norm should be at least 3-fold, preferably 4-fold work on the sheet. In recent years, where we used these agricultural methods, we had a good economic effect, ”the minister said.
Another important reserve is water, which is used for spraying plants; most of units are not suitable for work without proper preparation. Now about 100 stationary mortar units with preliminary water treatment according to temperature, hardness and acidity have been commissioned, 60% of their cost is reimbursed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan from the republican budget. “But even with such support, a number of districts can not build at least one installation. Using this simple method, we could get up to 500 thousand tons of additional grain. I am asking for your attention, dear heads of farms! ”, The Deputy Prime Minister addressed the audience.
He also said that since the current year some new measures have been introduced in terms of hectare support. Speaking of compensating conditions, they do not change, but there is a new direction, stimulating support will be provided to increase the area and gross harvest of grain and legumes, to support perennial plantings.
Since 2020, federal support is also provided for liming acidic soils. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan reimburses 90% of the costs. For the current year, it is planned to invest 80 thousand hectares with an increase of 100 thousand hectares per year by 2024. This will also improve the condition and productivity of arable land.
In addition, the Federal Law FZ-280 “On Organic Products”entered into force on January 1. The Republic is one of the pilot sites. There are already agricultural enterprises that have begun to work in this direction. This year, the ministry will develop a mechanism for their support in transition.
Marat Zyabbarov drew attention to the fact that in the coming days it was necessary to complete the detailed development of work plans for sowing. “This year, we will more stringently monitor the implementation of plans and compliance with these standards,” the minister said.
