Rishat Khabipov opened a farming alley at the main gastronomic festival of the city “Tasty Kazan”

Today, RT Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Rishat Khabipov opened a farm alley at the main gastronomic festival of the city.

The farm alley presents to the festival guests the whole variety of natural products - from cheeses and honey to bread and sausages. There will be workshops on cheese making and cooking natural products at home.

GBU Center of Competencies for the Development of Agricultural Cooperation in the Republic of Tatarstan organized a separate exposition of products of farmers and cooperatives. The peculiarity of this format is that the products are presented not by the farmers themselves, but by accredited retail operators. With these operators, the Competence Center is working to form a unified logistics system for the working title "Tugan Yak" (Native Land).

This project provides an opportunity for citizens to receive natural products from small (cooperative) processors during the year through a system of retail operators. To date, the project has two retail operators that have their own wholesale warehouses and retail facilities (including in the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park).

The gastronomic festival and the work of the farm alley will continue on August 24 and 25 from 10.00 to 22.00. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan invites Kazan residents and guests to taste and purchase natural farm products, as well as take part in master classes.
