Products worth more than 1 billion rubles were sold at traditional agricultural fairs
On September 10, traditional agricultural fairs started in the republic. They are held at 14 sites in the city of Kazan, 2 sites in Naberezhnye Chelny and the Zelenodolsk district, 3 sites in Nizhnekamsk. Also, 26 municipal districts of Tatarstan hold them at different intervals.
According to the results of 11 fairs, agricultural products were sold for a total of 1 billion 116.7 million rubles. Vegetables are in great demand. Almost 15 thousand tons of them were sold, including 9371.9 tons of potatoes, 3015 tons of onions, 1454.2 tons of cabbage. Also, 174.4 tons of draft milk, 1 million 413 thousand eggs, 551 tons of granulated sugar, 1164.8 tons of meat, including 703.1 tons of beef, were sold at the fairs.
32 municipal districts, 11311 vehicles are involved in the fairs.
The fairs will run until December 24, 2022.
